Where to begin to tell you about me…
Raised by a single father, he instilled in me the need to always be myself, that my opinion counts, and it is ok to have one. That stuck with me. It wasn’t until recent years that I have found the need to explore those opinions in-depth. That is why I began this blog, an outlet to share what is swimming in my head. In the past I hadn’t done so out of fear of not being taken seriously. Now, I let it all out without that fear. I know that it is ok not to follow the pack and to walk alone if necessary. Sometimes a single voice of decent can begin to change.
Now, I am a woman who is in the prime of her life (aka in my early fifties and knows who she is). I grew up in and still live in the Midwest. I consider myself a private person, while still enjoying meeting new and interesting people.
My thoughts and beliefs are my own. You can agree or disagree. Either way is OK. But on both sides, especially if you do not agree, have the debate with the proof to back it up. Saying someone is wrong without saying why is not a debate. It is a cop-out because you don’t know what you believe.
I welcome all to read what I have to post. I hope it makes you understand me a little better, makes you think, and helps make even a small difference in the world to make people ask questions. Never be afraid to ask, “What If…?”.
